Quality Assured
Drinking Water

Summer Drinking Water is purified with an 8-Step Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Process and certified by MeSTI, SIRIM, and HACCP for our consumers to have complete peace of mind during consumption.

1 Source Selection and Monitoring

Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water is sourced from municipally treated water. The quality of the water at the source is tested and verified periodically both in-house and by third party, to ensure its purity.

2 Preliminary Filtration

Raw water passed through sand filtration and activated carbon filtration to remove sludge, fine sand, and unpleasant smell and tested.

3 Intermediate Filtration

Filtration with 5 and 1 micron rated cartridge filter acting as 4polishing filter to remove particles and impurities.

3 Water Storage and Monitoring

Filtered in-process water stored in storage tank. In-process water samples collected daily for chemical and physical tests to assure the quality requirements are met before being released for further 5 treatment.

5 Reverse Osmosis Process

Water will be transferred to Reverse Osmosis equipment with 0.0001 micron semi-permeable membrane. RO process is to remove substantial amounts of most inorganic chemicals (such as salts, metals, minerals), trihalomethanes (THM’s), some pesticides, solvents and other volatile organic compounds (VOC’s).

6 UV Sterilisation

Water passed through an integrated micron filtration and ultra-violet disinfection process that kill bacteria present in water. The combined effects of micro-filtration and UV sterilisation provide added assurance of product safety.

7 Bottling Control

Bottling is conducted under controlled conditions using state-of-the-art equipment. Microbiological swab test is carried out to monitor bacteriological cleanliness on bottling machinery and environmental cleanliness.

8 Packaging Control

Packaging is conducted using modern equipment. Bottles and caps are rinsed with treated water before bottling. Microbiological swab test is carried out to monitor bacteriological cleanliness on critical packaging materials. aterial lot that does not conform to requirement / specification is rejected.
